A downloadable collection

Hello fellow Die fans!
Having played quite a lot of the beta version of Die the RPG, I found myself disappointed by the multi-session campaign maerial in the final release. The new advancements seemed lackluster, the progression tree too linear, and the character sheets themselves were awkwardly layed out, with an inconsistent design full of odd blank spaces. The sheets also missed the opportunity to teach players about the use of their abilities, which is a shame because these sheets are often players' only contact with the actual game materials.

So being a designer, I thought about what I would do differently, and playtested until I was satisfied. The results are character sheets that guide players through the intricacies of their abilities, have interesting choices for level advancement, and as much space as possible has been crammed with new and exciting abilties! The core of the classes are unchanged, but many other things are different.

I’m proud of this work and it's been a hit at my tables, so I wanted to share it with other fans. Everyone has different tastes, but I hope you at least find this interesting in part or in whole. I've made this out of love, with absolutely no disrespect meant to Kieron or anyone else who worked hard to make Die a reality. We can all agree you've created something truly beautiful.  --Nate

The Big Changes
⦁    Level progression has been altered for all classes, replacing the linear-ish tree with a (mostly) open list of advancements, many of which are new.
⦁    All sheets now have detailed explanations of how their class mechanics work, to guide players and make sure everyone is on the same page.
⦁    The Godbinder’s sheet has been completely overhauled. Mechanically they play exactly the same, but the generic gods are replaced with a full pantheon from the comics, and the  “Level 1-3” spells are now a rank system that’s more thematic. Plus new spells for all the gods! (Seriously, check this one out!)
⦁    The Neo has dozens of new upgrades to choose from.
⦁    The Dictator’s Voice has been slightly altered to have them begin with less control over their power, and grow better with it over time.
⦁    The Emotional Scale for the Dictator/Emotion Knight has one additional level, fixing the awkward jump from "0-Nothing" to "1-Strong".
⦁    The Emotion Knight has new Stances and Vents to choose from, Social Stances can be used at lower emotion, and “Creative Violence” is renamed “Violent Catharsis” to better represent its essence.
⦁    The Fallen sheet is completely new. As these are for ongoing campaigns, players who become Fallen should get interesting character choices too.

The Core Mechanic
The “Core Mechanic” changed between beta and final release. I prefer the beta, but there's a version of each, for those who like the new way better. (I use the beta mechanic for all checks, and have Defense subtract from attack rolls.)

Beta: "Succeed if the number of successes meets or exceeds the difficulty."
Final: "Subtract 1 success for each difficulty and succeed if any dice remain."
